Wouldn't it, as a program to scan your PC and report that info to the web, need to disable your anti-virus and firewall, in order to do its job? Could it be that the Microsoft firewall is giving you a "false-positive" reading? I'm guessing, of course. It is a downloaded program that is stand alone and does not update itself. It has no reason to go online.

That said I would not put anything on my puter that goes online on it's own. I update manual only so I know whats going on at all times with my puter.
